In Body Love Yoga Workshops you will learn real, practical tools to guide you towards  a relaxed and joyful relationship with your body.

Workshop Themes include

 

 

 

Understanding the underlying motivations and beliefs that keep you trapped in unhelpful thoughts

and behaviours towards your body.

 

Developing a relationship of kindness with yourself, and exploring how this change inevitably shifts

your relationship with the way you see and nourish your body.

 

Methods for transforming your relationship with the inner critic.

 

Establishing a relationship of trust with your body, and what nourishment really means for you.

 

Discovering that you have all the tools you will ever need to recover your sense of wholeness and simple practices to support you in this new awareness of your capacity to thrive.

 

Identifying and building on your innate gifts and strengths, to feel genuinely connected to all that is already good

in your life.

 

Learning how to embody self-acceptance, playfulness and worthiness,

so your life becomes an expression of joy.

 

Simple strategies for taking these tools and practices and integrating them into your daily life.

 

 

 

 

 

Workshop Details

 

 

Body love yoga workshops combine yoga postures, mindfulness techniques and experiential exercises with practical tools for transforming your relationship with the skin you're in.

No Prior Yoga Experience Required

(I promise we won't be doing any intimidating pretzel moves!)

 

The only prerequisite for attending this workshop is a desire to enjoy a more loving relationship with your body.

...and we can all benefit from learning to love our bodies a little more!

 

The workshops are also popular with yoga teachers and mental health practitioners who are seeking to cultivate stronger tools to support women in developing a more loving relationship with their body.

 

Women of all ages (including adolescents), levels of fitness, and body shapes are welcome.

workshop hours differ depending on the focus of the workshop. for times of specifc workshops, look to the 'workshop dates' box to your right...

(Please allow ample time to arrive promptly, as we have much to cover in our time together!)

 

Investment

half day workshop (4 hours) $95 or $70 early bird

full day workshop (7.5 hours) $145 or $115 early bird

Register and pay in full one month before the course and receive the early bird rate.

Women who have previously attended one of my workshops are eligible for an additional 10% discount on the workshop cost.

Refreshments Included

I love to offer my favourite nourishing 'bliss balls' with chai tea, as well as a selection of herbal teas and a delicious fruit platter. You are very welcome to bring any snacks with you that you prefer.

 

Group Size

This workshop is held in a safe and supportive environment. Group numbers for workshops are kept intimate, so there is plenty of opportunity to ask questions, and receive direct support.

 

What To Bring

 

Please wear comfortable clothing that you can move freely in and bring a warm layer even in summer, such as a long sleeve t-shirt.

 

your preferred lunch and a water bottle.

 

a journal/notebook, a pen, and an open mind.

 

Equipment is provided, however if you have a yoga mat you are welcome to bring it.

I am an experienced and passionate group facilitator, art therapist and registered yoga teacher. I created these unique workshops to share the tools and practices that continue to support my own journey of loving my body, after many years of living with eating disorders and negative body image. Cancellation Policy

Cancellation is permitted up until two weeks prior to the workshop.

Please contact me to cancel so your place can be offered to another within the community. A $5 administration fee applies to all cancellations.

Any cancellations after ths date will be considered a sponsorship so as a participant unable to otherwise attend may join the workshop, or you may choose to attend a future workshop.
