Terms and Conditions
- all programs -

These Terms & Conditions outline the policies for all offerings facilitated by Sarah Ball, including short courses, teacher trainings, mentoring programs, and international retreats.
They are designed to protect the sustainability of small-group education and ensure clarity and fairness for all participants.
1. Short Courses (In-Person & Online)
Bookings & Payments
Your booking—whether paid in full or via instalment—confirms your place and represents your full commitment to the course.
Numbers are limited, and spaces are held exclusively for those enrolled. Payment plans are provided as a convenience only and do not constitute a month-by-month membership or trial.
All prices are listed in Australian dollars (AUD).
Refunds & Cancellations
In-Person Short Courses
-
Cancellations made more than 14 days before the start date will receive a refund, less a $75 administration fee.
-
Cancellations made within 14 days of the start date are non-refundable, except where a suitable replacement participant can be confirmed (by you or from the waitlist) with organiser approval. A $75 administration fee applies.
-
No refunds or credits will be issued once the course has commenced.
-
Transfers to future courses are not available.
If paying by instalment, all payments must be completed as scheduled. Failure to complete payment may result in forfeiting your place, with no refund of amounts paid.
Online Short Courses (Digital Products)
Online courses are digital products and are accessible immediately upon purchase or from the advertised start date.
As per Australian Consumer Law, digital products are non-refundable once purchased, except where the product is faulty or not as described.
Access is available for the period stated on the course page (typically four months). Login details are for your personal use only and must not be shared or transferred.
2. Teacher Trainings (50-Hour & Other Professional Trainings)
In-Person
Deposits & Payments
A non-refundable deposit of $550 is required to secure your place.
The balance must be paid in full no later than 6 weeks prior to the training start date.
Payment plans must be completed by the agreed due dates. Overdue payments may result in a fee or forfeiture of your place, with refund policies applying as below.
Cancellations & Refunds
-
Cancellations 8+ weeks prior: balance refunded, deposit retained ($550).
-
Cancellations between 8–4 weeks prior: 50% refund of total course fee (if paid in full).
-
Cancellations within 4 weeks prior: no refund. You may transfer your place to another suitable participant (arranged by you, with organiser approval).
-
No refunds once the training has commenced.
-
Fees are not transferable to other courses or retreats.
Transfers
If you cannot attend, you may transfer your place to another person suitable for the course content.
The replacement participant must complete required forms and be approved by the organiser.
An admin fee of $150 applies for transfers requested within 4 weeks of the start date.
All payments are non-refundable but are transferable to another participant if you are unable to attend.
If the training is cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances, all payments will be refunded in full.
Online Teacher Trainings
Online trainings include both cohort-based programs (with set start and live session dates) and self-led or pre-recorded programs that provide immediate access upon enrolment.
Your enrolment confirms your full commitment to the course in its entirety. Payment plans offered through Teachable are automated for convenience only and do not constitute a month-by-month subscription or partial participation arrangement.
Cohort-Based Online Trainings
For programs with a defined start date and/or live sessions (such as the 50-hour Online Training):
Cancellations made more than 8 weeks before the scheduled start date will receive a refund of fees paid, less a $350 non-refundable deposit.
Cancellations between 8–4 weeks before the start date are eligible for a 50% refund of the total course fee (if paid in full).
Cancellations within 4 weeks of the start date are non-refundable, except where a suitable replacement participant can be confirmed (by you or from the waitlist) with organiser approval.
Once the training has commenced or digital materials have been accessed, no refunds or transfers are possible.
Fees are not transferable to other trainings or retreats.
Self-Led or Pre-Recorded Professional Trainings
For programs where you receive instant access to course materials upon enrolment:
These trainings are classified as digital products and are non-refundable once purchased, in accordance with Australian Consumer Law, except where the product is faulty or not as described.
Access is provided for the period stated on the course page. Login details are for your personal use only and must not be shared or transferred.
Payment Obligations
Failure to complete your payment plan does not release you from the financial obligation of the full course fee.
Access to course materials may be suspended if instalments are overdue, but the balance remains payable in full.
If an online training is postponed, rescheduled, or cancelled by the organiser, participants will be notified and offered either a full refund or a transfer to the rescheduled date at no additional cost.

Shared meals, refreshments, and venue use where specified

What’s Not Included

Travel Insurance

Proof of insurance may be requested prior to the retreat or training.
Participants are strongly encouraged to include coverage for loss or delay of luggage and personal effects.
Health & Safety
Participation in movement, discussion, and group processes is voluntary and self-paced.
Please consult your healthcare provider if you have concerns about your physical or mental readiness for travel or participation.
The organiser reserves the right to decline participation or request modification of activities if safety or wellbeing is a concern.
Conduct & Community
All retreats and international trainings are designed as respectful, inclusive learning environments.
Participants are asked to uphold shared values of care, professionalism, and integrity.
The organiser reserves the right to withdraw any participant whose behaviour compromises the safety or wellbeing of others. In such cases, no refund will be provided.
Assumption of Risk & Liability
By enrolling, you acknowledge that participation involves inherent risks, including potential exposure to illness, injury, or accident.
You accept responsibility for your own wellbeing and release the organiser (Sarah Ball, her affiliates, and contractors) from liability for any loss, damage, injury, illness, or inconvenience that may occur during or in connection with the retreat or training, except in cases of proven negligence.
Cancellations by the Organiser
In the unlikely event that the retreat or training must be cancelled or rescheduled by the organiser, all fees paid will be refunded in full.
The organiser is not responsible for any additional expenses such as flights, accommodation, or travel arrangements.
If postponement is necessary due to unforeseen circumstances, participants will be offered the option to transfer to a rescheduled date at no additional cost.
5. Mentoring Programs
Bookings & Payments
Participation in mentoring programs represents a year-long commitment of time, energy, and resources.
Places are limited and each enrolment forms part of a small, closed group.
By enrolling—whether paying in full or via payment plan—you are committing to the entire program fee. Payment plans are provided as a convenience only and do not constitute a month-by-month membership or partial participation arrangement.
All prices are listed in Australian dollars (AUD).
Cancellations & Refunds
Due to the small-group and closed nature of this program, all payments made are non-refundable, regardless of the reason for withdrawal.
This policy reflects the depth of preparation, ongoing facilitation, and the limited number of places available each year.
If you choose to withdraw from the program more than 90 days before the start date, and your place can be filled with a suitable replacement participant (approved by the organiser), no further payments will be required.
However, any payments already made remain non-refundable.
If you withdraw within 90 days of the program start date or after the program has commenced, the full program fee remains payable, even if you are no longer participating.
Payment Plans
Flexible payment plans are offered to support accessibility.
Entering into a payment plan represents agreement to pay the entire program fee in instalments according to the chosen schedule.
Failure to complete a payment plan does not cancel the financial obligation of the total fee.
Access to mentoring sessions or materials may be paused if instalments are overdue, but the balance remains payable in full.
Transfers & Deferrals
Because of the closed-group nature of this program, transfers to future mentoring cohorts are not available.
In exceptional circumstances, and at the organiser’s discretion, a suitable replacement participant may be approved before the program commences.

All programs are designed as respectful, inclusive environments.
Disruptive, harmful, or unethical behaviour may result in withdrawal from the program without refund.
